i finally got all my injector connectors cleaned. lol. first off it takes a lot longer than you think to clean those things. have you guys checked them? my connection was corroded beyond belief. i had corrosion of all colors (green, white, yellow) caked on. i had to spray multiple applications of battery cleaner and used every brush imagineable (toothbrush, electric spin brush, brass bristles, stainless bristles). good grief. end result? z feels strong as hell! very strong and smooth acceleration. one question tho. i also cleaned the connection to that air idle device (above plenum). when i started up the car, the idle went ballistic! the idle jumped from 400-2000 rpm. is this normal? after taking it for a spin, my idle has steadied... but it's idling a bit high at 1000. will this gradually correct itself? after cleaning that connection, my idle has actually gotten rougher and my 750 idle jumped to 1000. hmmm. maybe i should have left that one alone... but it was corroded so i cleaned it as well. do i need to leave it alone or do some more hunting? btw, the ecu has already been reset. thanks.
